These Terms govern access to Cali X Desk software, website widgets, Prompt Packs, Shopfront, Custom, Automation, and related services on calixbuild.com and calixbuild.grok.me. By using the site or placing an order you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. The written product name is always two words: “Cali X.”

1. Service
Cali X Desk is a front-desk tool for tree, landscape, and similar field companies: website widgets, messaging workflows, qualification, Estimated Costs, booking, and optional connections to tools you already use (for example, Jobber). Shopfront, Custom, and Automation are related design, site, and inbox services. Prompt Packs are digital content.
Cali X is not a licensed tree contractor and does not perform field work. Estimated Costs are planning ranges, not contracts, bids, or guarantees. You are responsible for final pricing, safety, licensing, insurance, and job acceptance.
2. Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for account security, lawful use of messaging channels, and obtaining required consent for SMS and voice communications before those messages go out. You may not use Cali X Desk to spam, harass, or violate carrier or legal requirements. You must be 18 or older to order.
3. AI limitations
Automated replies can be incomplete or incorrect. Do not rely on them for safety-critical or legal decisions. Final pricing, safety decisions, and job acceptance remain your responsibility.
4. Orders, fees, and digital goods
Prices are on the Pricing and Buy pages or your order form. Packs are digital and may download or be emailed after you place the order. Desk, Shopfront, Custom, and Automation: we send a pay link; work starts after we confirm payment unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Deposits for Shopfront, Custom, and Automation are applied to that project. Unused deposit handling, if any, is as we write in your order confirmation.
All fees are in U.S. dollars. Subscription terms (Starter, Crew, Outfit) are monthly unless your order says otherwise.
5. Third-party marks and tools
Jobber, Google, and Angi are trademarks of their owners. Cali X Desk is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of those companies. If you connect a third-party account, that provider’s terms also apply.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect and use personal information. A short notice also appears on checkout.
7. Intellectual property
We own Cali X Desk, the site, and our templates. You own your company content (logos, photos, copy you give us). Prompt Packs are licensed to you for your business use; you may not resell them as a competing pack.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by California law, we disclaim implied warranties. We are not liable for lost profits, lost jobs, or indirect damages. Aggregate liability is limited to fees you paid us in the prior three months for the product at issue. Some California consumer rules cannot be waived; those stay in place.
9. Termination
We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms, do not pay, or abuse the service. You may stop using the product at any time. Sections that should survive (fees owed, IP, liability, governing law) survive.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Santa Cruz County, California, are the venue for disputes that go to court, except where California law requires otherwise.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new date. Continued use after the date is acceptance of the update. Material changes to a paid subscription will be emailed to the address on the order when we can.
